Theater Consulting
Specialized vocal consulting services to support the musical theater industry
Jeanie LoVetri offers a suite of specialized vocal consulting services to support the musical theater industry.
Jeanie’s work is informed by over 50 years’ work with professional singers, medical experts and singing science researchers, rooted in her work with Broadway principals since 1980.
Jeanie LoVetri assists the Production Team, as well as casting and musical directors, during the audition process by evaluating the vocal function of each performer, comparing it to the rigors of the show through the use of a proprietary Voice Index Analysis (VIA). Corrective or developmental training is then provided to assist performers to meet role demands in a short time.
Jeanie LoVetri assists production companies including musical directors, conductors and casting agents by providing a Vocal Score Analysis (VSA) examining the interface between the vocal line, the orchestral accompaniment, and the parameters of individual roles.
Making use of emerging research on the interface between the sound design, the sound engineer and singer, suggestions will be made to enhance the communication between artist and engineer.
Jeanie LoVetri creates Custom Show Vocal Warm-ups for individual performers, or for the entire ensemble.

In rehearsal
Once the show is up, the Voice Index Analysis (V.I.A.) provides an individualized evaluation of the voice of each actor and sets up a series of vocal exercises that will most suit the music of the role or roles to be played.
Throughout the run
Custom tailored assistance is available on a concierge basis, to trouble-shoot and problem solve all actors’ vocal issues as they arise or to avoid them as much as possible.
